It also features a lovely pool with some shade and a great waterslide. Its greatest attraction though is the choice of two safe sandy beaches, both just a short, safe stroll away. There is also an excellent bar, restaurant, and crperie, from which you can watch the children playing on the beach, or look out further to the bright sails of the windsurfers beyond. See it just once and youll understand why Brittanys soft, sandy beaches are such a popular destination for families.
With a spectacular pool complex and great facilities, this excellent parc is especially suited to families with children. Cambrils Park is very attractive, with the pool complex very much a centrepiece, where youll find elephant waterchutes and a dragon slide, as well as the main area for evening entertainment. As welcoming to children as adults, there is a very professional animation programme here, with lots of involvement from the parcs own Parky character. Guests can enjoy mini-golf, tennis, soccer, aerobics and excellent facilities all round. There are shops, bars and a restaurant on parc not to mention a fine beach with watersports less than 1km away. While staying at Cambrils Park, why not take a trip into Barcelona, just over an hours drive, or an hour and a half by train. Please note that there are no Eurocamp couriers available at this parc.
This Canadian campsite is the ideal location for seeing Niagara Falls, in fact being just 3 miles away, you can actually hear them. Youll be spoilt for choice with the number of ways you can see this great natural wonder. Available from the campsite are combination tickets for an IMAX fi lm of the Falls and then dinner in the rotating restaurant atop Skylon Tower. Theres also a shuttle from the campsite, which runs regularly in season along with bus tour pick-ups each morning. Aside form the falls, there are lovely botanical gardens nearby, as well as Marineland Theme Park which houses the largest killer whale habitat in the world. After all your sightseeing, you can relax on campsite in the heated indoor pool, spa and two outdoor heated pools.

For endless unspoiled sand and surf, head to this fantastic oceanfront campsite on the Outer Banks. At this beautiful location, you can walk the miles of sandy beaches, hunt for shells, try to catch some bluefish and try to spot some dolphins that are often seen nearby. If you head across this sliver of an island (its just a quarter-mile wide), you will come to Pamlico Sound, which is fantastic for windsurfing and kite-boarding. Aside from the beaches, there are many attractions to visit, including Americas tallest lighthouse at Cap Hatteras, known as "the Big Barber Pole", and the Wright Brothers National Memorial near Kitty Hawk and Kill Devil Hills, where you can visit the monument celebrating where man first took flight.
The campsite at Myrtle Beach is set in the heart of this coastal citys multitude of attractions. Within walking distance of two amusement / water parks, four miniature golf courses, live music theatres, more than 40 restaurants and of course, dazzling sand beaches, its the perfect base for your holiday. Theres lots to see and do in this region. Youre just 10 miles south of Captain Dick's Marina which offers a variety of sea experiences such as inlet fishing, shark fishing, dolphin watching, saltwater marsh tours and parasailing. And for some great water fun, head down to Myrtle Waves Water Park, and experience 30 fantastic rides, including wave warriors for the adventurous, or the relaxing lazy rivers if you want to relax. Or take a step back in time and go to the Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament, where you can see knights jousting as you eat.
This idyllic resort has some fantastic mountain views, with the campsite located between the Raven Fork River and three tribal trout ponds that are ideal for fishing. Being just a few miles away from the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the Blue Ridge Parkway, there are plenty of scenic delights, within easy reach. Take a trip on the Great Smoky Mountains Railway, and see the beautiful Smoky Mountains in the foothills of North Carolina, where youll pass beautiful forests, rivers and small towns. But this region is also rich in American history. A visit to the Museum of the Cherokee Indian is a must, and if you fancy seeing how the Native Americans lived over 225 years ago, simply take a trip to the Oconaluftee Indian Village where you can see the past come to life. And if youre in the mood for some pulse raising activities, try some white water rafting or join in the fun at Dollywood Amusement Park.
With 28 miles of fantastic public beaches, as well as 3 miles of broadwalk and fishing peers, this lively seaside resort is the perfect holiday setting. With the numerous cafs, restaurants, bars and abundant water sport activities, theres a whole host of things to see and do, all only a few minutes from the campsite. Head to the Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Centre where youll see a huge open-ocean aquarium, a loggerhead turtle hatchling lab and an amazing six-story-high Family Channel IMAX 3D Theatre. For some American history, the Old Cape Henry Lighthouse is well worth a visit and is located within the Fort Story military base, near the spot where Captain Newport raised a cross after crossing the Atlantic in 1607. If you fancy some action-packed fun, go to Virginia Beach Motor World where you can experience go-karting, paintball, climbing walls, skycoasters and mini golf. Back on the campsite, the campsite staff can help arrange deep-sea charters, dolphin-watching cruises and other excursions. Theres even American aircraft bases near to the campsite, however please note that occasional aircraft noise can be heard.
With direct access to a private lake beach with plentiful water sports, La Rive is ideal for an action packed holiday. This parc is nestled amongst acres of the famous Landaise Forests. Apart from boasting one of the best lakeside beaches in the South West and being awarded the prestigious La Clef Verte award, the owner has created a superb water park that includes 4 slides, childrens pool, covered pool, and Jacuzzi. The choice of things to do is second to none, why not try the activity club called LoLo that boasts activities such as bungee trampoline, sailing, pedalos, rollerblading and skating. If you can tear yourself away from this, then you can indulge in a spot of tennis, archery or petanque. The delightful bar and restaurant overlook a well equipped and spacious play area and the quaint town of Biscarosse with its bars, shops and nightlife only a short drive away.

De la Baie is a relaxing parc with a welcoming family atmosphere that is neatly laid out and very well tended. The owners take great pride in their parc and are keen that parc rules are followed to ensure the enjoyment of everyone. It has a magical setting on a quiet wooded peninsula, beside a sweeping sandy beach backed by dunes and calm shallow waters, ideal for younger children. There is a comfortable bar and crperie/restaurant opposite the parc, serving a superb and varied menu and offering panoramic views across the bay. There is also a small but sheltered swimming pool on-parc with waterchute.
Ideally located in the Breton countryside, with an excellent swimming pool complex and beaches within easy reach. This family-run parc, 2 kilometres from Baden, is positioned near to the beautiful Gulf of Morbihan. The excellent facilities, situated at the top of a fairly steep hill, include a swimming pool with waterslides, jacuzzi, sauna, bar and restaurant. The family will enjoy relaxing at the south facing beaches or exploring the rock pools and coves just 6 kilometres away at le aux Moines. During July and August the parc staff organise daytime and evening entertainment for the whole family. The already impressive pool complex has now been upgraded with a purpose built indoor pool.

Parc staff organise a great animation programme from the beginning of the season to suit all ages. The restaurant offers a superb menu and a wonderful decked area overlooking the pool. Positioned close to the beach in the beautiful Costa Dorada, Cambrils Park offers a large pool complex and varied animation programme, featuring sporting competitions, aerobics, discos and shows to name but a few. Cambrils is ideally located, close to Barcelona, only an hour by car or half an hour by train or if thrills are the order of the day then Port Aventura Theme Park is only 8km away. There is no Keycamp courier service on Cambrils and all enquiries will be handled by the main parc reception, however, a Keycamp rep will visit regulary.
With Niagara Falls just 3 miles from the parc, this is a great location to visit this natural wonder and enjoy a family holiday at the same time. A shuttle runs regularly to the falls in season and a bus tour picks up each morning. Your hosts sell combination tickets for an IMAX film on the falls and dinner in the rotating restaurant atop Skylon Tower, offering a view of the falls. You could also take a famous Maid of the Mist boat ride. Back on the parc the heated indoor pool, spa and two outdoor heated pools soothe tired sightseeing muscles. If you are too tired for cooking, or visiting one of the nearby restaurants, then there is also a snack bar available. And for any days you dont choose to go out and about, there is mini golf, bike hire, jumping pillow (like a bouncy castle!), outdoor cinema, basketball and playground to keep all ages entertained. Set amidst rolling hills in unspoilt countryside, this parc is well maintained by the friendly owners and is highly rated by our customers, with lovely old farm buildings converted to house a basic shop with bar and restaurant. The pretty bar terrace with its elegant sandstone balustrading overlooks the swimming pool area, waterslides, tennis court, and spacious play area. Most of our accommodation can be found on pitches shaded by mature oak trees. A recent addition to this lovely parc is a fantastic indoor gym, finished to a very high standard.

Situated beside a small lake, this family-run parc is four miles from the elegant town of Biarritz. The soaring Pyrnes form a magnificent backdrop to the parc, which has terraced hillside pitches set amongst oak trees. There is a waterpark with fourlane waterslide, as well as a covered pool across the road in a newer part of the parc. However, if relaxation is more your style, dont forget the Balneo, where you can enjoy a massage in the outdoor spa or relax in the jacuzzi complex which is free in low season and available for a small charge during July and August. Traffic and trains can be heard from the parc. Three miles away are beaches lapped by Atlantic shores, renowned for excellent surfing.

The impressive old stone farm buildings in the main courtyard, which house the restaurant and bar, have been renovated to provide a beautiful setting. During high season the parc becomes more lively when evening entertainment and activities, a lot aimed at children of all ages, are organised. 5km away is the old town of Marennes, famous for its oysters, where you can sample the wonderful local seafood.

At the centre of the parc is a bar with a large openair amphitheatre and a stage where lively evening entertainment is held. The recently developed, tropical style swimming pool complex, with waterslide, lies in a sunny clearing on the edge of the parc away from our accommodation. The parc organises a varied programme of activities for all ages including the very popular circus school and for the active amongst you there is even a fitness track in the woods. This parc is one and a half miles from the resort of La Palmyre with its long sandy beach.
