Beautiful appartment next to Lake Faak with brilliant facilities. The appartments have been reconstructed from old wood in traditional carinthian style, and form part of a holiday village with its own shop, barrestaurant and fitness room.The extras include your own allocated sunloungers and parasol, and a free daily activity, led by the village animation team. Kids are particularly well catered-for, with free supervision from the age of only 8 months!Optional payable activities include canyoning, breakfast on a mountain top, and canoeing.Whether you need a holiday full of activity, or for rest and battery-recharging, the management here seem to have thought of everything to help you.The interior of the accommodation can differ slightly from the pictures. Faakersee (AT-9582-09)
A lovingly restored old house on the edge of Latschach, a traditional Carinthian village dominated by the Mittagskogel mountain. All the furnishings and the floors are solid wood - no IKEA here! The kitchen, bathroom, a wonderful traditional dining room and 2 single bedrooms are all downstairs. Up the short, steep(!) staircase there is a large living room with an alcove for one or two single beds and a double bedroom. The carport and garden veranda are covered with hanging vines, which looks fantastic. For the kids there is a table tennis table and a trunk full of toys including inflatables for the nearby Faakersee. Italy is close enough to cycle to, and the Slovenian Alps just 20 minutes by car!
