This new holiday park is on a large lake near the Polish village of Lagow. Berlin is just an hour and a half's drive away. The park covers five hectares. Lagow is a centuries-old spa resort and a popular tourist destination. The village is famous for the annual Lagow Film Festival which is held during the second week of June. The Castle of the Order of Saint John is a famous landmark and well worth visiting. Lagow is surrounded by beautiful, crystal clear lakes stretching for thirty kilometres. One of the lakes has a beach and borders on the holiday park. You'll soon see why this area is known as the 'Polish Paradise'. You'll find plenty to do and see in the wonderful forested terrain surrounding the park. You can enjoy riding, kayaking, fishing, mountain biking and diving, including courses. There is a modern beauty centre nearby. You can enjoy breathtaking scenery here. There are plenty of attractions just a stones throw away including the charming old town of Zielona Gora. The park is open in winter and there are plenty of activities to enjoy then too. The ancient town of MiÄdzyrzecz with its ruined Gothic castle is a half hour's drive from Lagow. The amazing MiÄdzyrzecz Fortified Region is not to be missed. This vast WW II underground bunker system is forty metres deep. It is now the home of Europes largest colony of bats. The UjÅcie Warty National Park is only an hours drive away. This is one of the most important breeding areas for wetland birds in Europe. This national park is unique in Europe for the number of bird species that can be seen there. The holiday park is an excellent destination and has modern accommodations. It is perfect for exploring this part of Poland.
