The soaring Pyrnes form a magnificent backdrop to the parc, which has terraced hillside pitches set amongst oak trees. There is a waterpark with fourlane waterslide, as well as a covered pool across the road in a newer part of the parc. However, if relaxation is more your style, dont forget the Balneo, where you can enjoy a massage in the outdoor spa or relax in the jacuzzi complex which is free in low season and available for a small charge during July and August. Traffic and trains can be heard from the parc. Three miles away are beaches lapped by Atlantic shores, renowned for excellent surfing.
