This new residential complex is built in the style of the region. It uses wood, slate and natural stone of the local area. The residence's apartments are divided over three buildings, each with five floors. The Pyrenean village of Cauterets is well known for its spa. The village is at an altitude of 1000 metres. The apartment complex is 700 metres from the village centre and 500 metres from the spa. There are two ski-areas. Le Cirque du Lys has 36 km of ski-runs. There are two black, seven red, nine blue and five green runs. The area can be reached using the gondola lift in the village. The lift will take you to the foot of the ski-run in around twelve minutes. Le Pont dEspange is 7 km from Cauterets. This ski-area has over 36 km of cross-country ski-runs, 6 km of walking paths, one tobogganing run and 6 km of ski-runs. As well as enjoying winter sports, there's plenty to see and do in Cauterets. You can visit the Bee Pavilion with its honey and gingerbread and the Berlingots where multi-coloured sweets are made using water from the thermal spas. Cauterets is one of the entrances to the Pyrenees National Park. This unspoilt area covers 45,000 hectares and is home to over a thousand animals species.
