A charming woodland parc close to the Chteau de Chambord, arguably the most magnificent of all Loire chteaux. Set in the spacious grounds of an old stone manor house, the peaceful wooded surroundings make Le Chteau des Marais an ideal parc for families with young children. The parc retains the atmosphere of an exclusive country estate and features a great waterpark with waterslides, a lazy river and a spacious sun terrace. The restaurant, take-away and shop have all been built of local oak to blend in with the surroundings. Some noise may be heard from the nearby road. The parc is a five minute walk from the village of Muides-sur-Loire. A small indoor spa, sauna, hammam and jacuzzi has now been built on the parc which is free to use in May June and Sept, however, there is a small charge in high season.

The parc is extremely pretty, in a lovely setting close to a small village and is also perfectly placed for sightseeing. The Loire river is just a short distance away, with opportunities for canoeing and fishing. Most importantly, the Loire is most famous for its many chteaux, two of which, Chambord and Blois, are close to hand.
