The Finspark Herikerberg is located near Markelo, in one of the prettiest places of Overijssel. The park is named after the dam rampart east of Markelo, the Herikerberg. It is on the outskirts of the wood and is surrounded by very old oak trees. The noise of the traffic does not penetrate here. Only the quiet and the tranquillity of nature surround you. The Herikerberg is an ideal nature area for walkers, trimmers, nature lovers, riders, cyclists and those looking for peace and quiet.There are 6-persons bungalows in the park. Every bungalow has its own spacious garden. The doors of the living room lead to the large roofed veranda of 7 by 2 metres. You will enjoy the tranquility in the park in the evening. The whole bungalow is equipped with tiles with floor heating. Every bungalow has three bedrooms, the bathroom has a whirlpool and a separate shower. The park also offers a play garden with wooden games. There is a small snackbar with terrace. You can use the washerdryer. Cycles and skelters are for rent and in high season there are regular kids' events. A special way to experience Finland is the Grill-Kentura, a Finnish grill house. You can enjoy great grills and barbecues in this house. The heat of the fire warms up the house in no time. You understand: our Grill-Kentura is a extraordinary experience, especially in winter. The Sauna has room for max. 8 persons and has a dressing room, showers, relaxation room with espresso machine, veranda and terrace. The garden is completely fenced.
