Can Terrades is a beautifully renovated Catalan farmhouse. A farmhouse is a 'Masia' in Catalan. The house is in a splendid area. It is at an altitude of 350 metres in the hills of the Garrotxa. This is a wooded area at the foot of the Spanish Pyrenees, a short distance from the Mediterranean Sea. The village of Beuda and the medieval town of Besalu are a few kilometres away. Can Terrades has a history which probably goes back to the 14th Century. The historic buildings have been transformed into modern, attractively furnished holiday homes. The homes are full of atmosphere.There are four holiday homes and two swimming pools in the delightful grounds. One holiday home, La Cabana, is detached and has a private swimming pool. Two holiday homes are in the Masia. These are the Loft and the Romantica. The studio, Establo, is 20 metres from the Masia. These three holiday homes share a swimming pool. The shared swimming pool has a sun terrace and is in a central position between the holiday homes.The Masia has rooms which can be rented for extra guests. Can Terrades is suitable for twenty people. You can relax together and enjoy plenty of privacy. There is a pleasantly furnished group area with an open fireplace, terrace and BBQ. The group area enjoys splendid views of the vineyard, the surrounding area and the Pyrenees. For sunny fresher weather, there is a sheltered, covered outdoor space.The area is excellent for walking. There are made and unmade routes through the woods, passing Catalan farms and medieval villages. If you enjoy riding and mountain biking you can enjoy yourself to the full here. There are a number of golf courses in the area.
