For endless unspoiled sand and surf, head to this fantastic oceanfront campsite on the Outer Banks. At this beautiful location, you can walk the miles of sandy beaches, hunt for shells, try to catch some bluefish and try to spot some dolphins that are often seen nearby. If you head across this sliver of an island (it’s just a quarter-mile wide), you will come to Pamlico Sound, which is fantastic for windsurfing and kite-boarding. Aside from the beaches, there are many attractions to visit, including America’s tallest lighthouse at Cap Hatteras, known as "the Big Barber Pole", and the Wright Brothers National Memorial near Kitty Hawk and Kill Devil Hills, where you can visit the monument celebrating where man first took flight.

If you fancy some action-packed fun, go to Virginia Beach Motor World where you can experience go-karting, paintball, climbing walls, skycoasters and mini golf. Back on the campsite, the campsite staff can help arrange deep-sea charters, dolphin-watching cruises and other excursions. There’s even American aircraft bases near to the campsite, however please note that occasional aircraft noise can be heard.

The Great Smokies is bordered by the Raven Fork River and by three tribal trout ponds, both stocked twice a week, so bring your rod and reel for some great fishing. The parc is also just a few miles from the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Enjoy the shuttle to area attractions, indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs. There’s also a waterslide that will take you sliding right into the outdoor pool. Grab your sleeping bag and some change, and enjoy a family film under the stars with freshly -popped popcorn from the snack bar. The Jumping Pillow (like a bouncy castle) and the tractor-pulled wagon will be a great hit with the entire family. Don't be surprised to hear a serenade of campfire songs by the passengers on this rustic ride!
Virginia Beach is a popular holiday destination with 28 miles of fine sandy beach, 3 miles of boardwalk and fishing piers, water parks, restaurants and shops. Pile your beach chairs onto the city trolley that runs regularly from this parc to the beach during the summer months, or spin along the 2-mile bike trail along the boardwalk. Other trails wind through backwater bays and marshes. Nearby attractions include deep-sea charters, dolphin-watching cruises and other excursions for the whole family. Back at the parc, you can join the summertime activities like ice cream socials, marshmallow roasts and flashlight candy hunts. There is also the pool, mini-golf, banana bikes and the playground to keep the children entertain all day.
This parc is right in the middle of everything you want to do in Florida. Daytona Speedway and Daytona Beach, are just 10 minutes from this parc, whilst Orlando, Walt Disney World (with MGM Studios) and Universal Studios are a little more than an hour's drive away, as is the Kennedy Space Center. The parc is pleasantly set out and well landscaped throughout and features a small shop, swimming pool for a cooling dip and children’s play area to keep the younger ones entertained. You’ll also find a snack bar, bike hire and free wireless internet is available. Our accommodation is situated on grassy pitches.

La Rive is located on the shores of the Biscarosse lake, four miles from the small town of Biscarosse. Activity centres around the lake, lined by a sandy beach where a large variety of watersports are organised. Facilities are available for mooring customers’ own boats. The whole family will enjoy the range of facilities from playgrounds and archery to the covered pool complex with waterslides, jacuzzi and toddler pools. Enjoy a drink on the outdoor bar terrace where evening entertainment is performed during high season.
An impressive lakeside parc in Les Landes forest. La Paillotte is ideally located at the heart of the Les Landes forest and on the edge of Lake Soustons. The parc has been developed to fit in with the attractive pinewood surroundings, and is set in the theme of a French Polynesian village. An ideal choice for active families with an extensive programme of daytime activities, including watersports and aqua aerobics, centred around the lake and a range of evening family entertainment. The pool, featuring a jacuzzi, bar and restaurant are located next to the lake. This parc is excellent for teenagers in high season.
Nestled in the Basque country, this parc is ideally located for the surfing beaches of the south west. Situated beside a small lake, this family-run parc is four miles from the elegant town of Biarritz. The soaring Pyrénées form a magnificent backdrop to the parc, which has terraced hillside pitches set amongst oak trees. There is a waterpark with fourlane waterslide, as well as a covered pool across the road in a newer part of the parc. However, if relaxation is more your style, don’t forget the Balneo, where you can enjoy a massage in the outdoor spa or relax in the jacuzzi complex which is free in low season and available for a small charge during July and August. Traffic and trains can be heard from the parc. Three miles away are beaches lapped by Atlantic shores, renowned for excellent surfing.
A large, top quality parc set in the undulating pine-forest of La Coubre, and close to superb sandy beaches. This is a popular parc with a range of facilities, suitable for families of all ages. Exploring the idyllic pine forest setting by bike is a favourite activity. Children will love the exciting pool complex with three waterchutes. There is a modern terraced restaurant and parc staff organise lots of activities during high season including a regular entertainment programme. Situated just one mile from La Palmyre and a tenminute drive from the best beaches.
An impressive château parc set in 130 acres near sandy beaches and featuring a magnificent waterpark. A member of the Castels chain of parcs, Sequoia Parc has excellent facilities with superb pools to entertain the whole family. The impressive old stone farm buildings in the main courtyard, which house the restaurant and bar, have been renovated to provide a beautiful setting. During high season the parc becomes more lively when evening entertainment and activities, a lot aimed at children of all ages, are organised. 5km away is the old town of Marennes, famous for its oysters, where you can sample the wonderful local seafood.
A large, lively parc set in a sandy pine wood glade with plenty of on-parc facilities and one and a half miles from the beach. Palmyre Loisirs is very popular with families who enjoy evening entertainment organized on-parc. At the centre of the parc is a bar with a large openair amphitheatre and a stage where lively evening entertainment is held. The recently developed, tropical style swimming pool complex, with waterslide, lies in a sunny clearing on the edge of the parc away from our accommodation. The parc organises a varied programme of activities for all ages including the very popular circus school and for the active amongst you there is even a fitness track in the woods. This parc is one and a half miles from the resort of La Palmyre with its long sandy beach.
